Hi Melissa, We were contacted by AFPS two years ago and were intrigued by what they had to say. We were visited by a consultant, I cannot for the life of me remember his name right at this minute, I'm sure that five minutes after I send this, it will come to me. I do recall it was a French sounding name, but I digress. I remember that we were sitting around our dining table and became enthusiastically engaged in a conversation about property investment. Now this wasn't the type of thing we often discussed around the table, and to be honest, as much as we would have liked to be in a position to jump into the investment pond, we didn't feel we were financially able. The consultant discussed the options we had available and suggested we come in to see the rest of team. So we did, and it's fair to say, we haven't looked back since.

From Treasha's warm and welcoming reassurance to Rob's enthusiasm for embracing possibilities, we walked way from our initial meeting confident that in time, we would be able to do what we never thought possible. At that stage, we were toying with the idea of starting a family and after seeing the numbers and having the theory behind it explained to me I was happy and confident we could invest. My wife however, wasn't so sure and we found that Treasha's care and attitude regarding our situation helped us understand which would be the most appropriate course of action for us to take. So, we were advised to wait a while, which we did. I have to add that in the subsequent months, Treasha kept a welcome and watchful eye on us, to make sure we weren't straying too far from our saving goals.

Six months later, we came in to the office to attend a catch up session. It was this day that changed our lives. Treasha, as always, was warm and reassuring and took great care to know where we were at, and not just financially. While we were discussing our savings plan, Rob burst into the room, his face beaming triumphantly and waved what looked like property plans in front of us. Admittedly, we were swept up in his excitement and learned that a property was coming up that suited our needs and situation perfectly. Treasha and Andrew (whom I've yet to mention, but have untold respect for) went through the figures and gave us two big thumbs up and Rob whisked us away to see the site. We liked what we saw and came back to the office and signed the papers. The ensuing weeks we dealt extensively with Andrew, who made the purchase as smooth as can be, and are now, the proud owners of our first investment property.

From day one, the AFPS experience has been rewarding, engaging and very satisfactory. We were taken in by their warmth and understanding of individual cases and the needs of each family and tailored their solution explicitly for us. Hi Melissa, I am just writing to let you know how happy Ros and I were with the service and advice we received from everybody at AFPS.

When we went for our initial interview with Treasha I felt sure that I didn’t wish to invest in real estate. I had in my mind that I wanted to purchase a share portfolio as I didn’t want to borrow $X and pay back the loan that goes with it. After speaking with Treasha for a short time she had shown me the benefits of investing in real estate over a share portfolio. Basically, I could borrow much more to invest in real estate and therefore the return should be greater overall and all for only $Y per week from my pocket.

Ros and I were convinced and the next step was to buy a property. This was a painless exercise too. We decided on a unit, which was almost complete, in Malvern. AFPS took care of the bank for us. I was amazed that we didn’t even have to go to the bank once. The Unit was ours with no fuss at all.

Treasha had estimated that the rent would be about $Z per week and that real estate in this area should rise about A% per year. You can imagine our surprise when the real estate firm said they had found tenants, before we actually owned it, for $X per week. We also read in the paper that real estate in Malvern has risen substantially more that 5% in the past year. AFPS also suggested we ask the tax office to get our tax return each pay, instead of at the end of the year, which helps immensely with our cash flow.

Then it was tax time, (July 07). We went to our accountant and gave him all the papers. He told us he was very impressed in the way in which our finances were structured (thanks to AFPS). We are comforted to know that if anyone of our immediate family wishes help to do the same then AFPS will give advice to them free of charge. Ros and I are due for a financial check up and are looking forward to catching up with Treasha soon.

Hi Melissa, "My relationship with AFPS started with a chance marketing call one night in 2007, passed to me by my girlfriend in the garage. Meet with much skepticism, I asked many difficult questions (I am a Business Analyst after all) and eventually decided this was an offer that seemed worth exploring, even if I said 'No thanks'.

After visiting AFPS, it became clear how I could 'take the next step' towards a positive decision for my future financial security. Which to be honest has always been a big scary monster to date.

I am now personally paying off my own home with more security, thanks to AFPS help with my house mortgage arrangements and have my first rental property on the way. Something I thought (if ever) would be years off yet, even with dedicated saving and hard work.
